Margaret Bowdey has lived in Boulder since 1957. In this interview she talks about raising four children in Boulder and the central place that the First United Methodist Church, which is celebrating its 150th anniversary this year, has played in her life. She describes the extensive choir program at the church, teaching Sunday school, participating in the Adult Forum and Reading Circle programs, and her pride in the church becoming a Reconciling Congregation that fully accepts gay people into its community.
